Report Since we wanted to start early on Friday, some members had to get up really early in the morning. Short after 10 in the morning, we're arriving at dkd and are welcomed by their staff. Friday morning: * Finish package builder service \& APT Repository automation (Andri, Fabien, Michael, \url{http://forge.typo3.org/issues/54061)} * Integrate Rabbit MQ in typo3.org (Bastian, ChristianZ) Lunch at 13:30 * Peter joins us Friday afternoon * Bastian gives short demo on Gitlab / GitlabCI * Next, groups continue their projects from the morning Achievements Friday: - set up new mailing list for the "news" extension (Fabien) - successfully finished migration of an OpenVZ container to LXC (Andri, Fabien, Michael) - successfully run Docker on Wheezy (master server only) (Andri, Fabien, Michael) - improvements on the message queue service (Christian, Bastian) - start workn on a spam-report service for typo3.org (Christian) - Make it configurable to create a Git repository when creating Redmine repositories (Peter) - More work on the Redmine setup (Peter) - Update the chef-repo config and README (Peter) - Mailing list for news asked by Georg Ringer (Fabien) Forge \url{http://forge.typo3.org/issues/56076} Close the office at 21:30. Enjoy some great japanese food in town \& end the day with some beers. Saturday morning Begin 09:30. Michael gives short introduction to a read-it-later service (Pocket) for keeping track of what's going on on Twitter etc. Next, continue work in groups. - Fabien \& Michael: Work on the Nutch for TYPO3 installation (ordered by the Documentation Team). Olivier joins to help us \& finish the setup. We reach a point where more help was needed to properly finish the task. We are in contact with DKD. - Peter is continuing the redmine migration - Andri is making progress the set up of our system package builder (deb, ...) 13:30 leave for lunch together with our host Olivier. 15:00 back from Lunch - Fabien \& Michael: document and write some ansible script to kick start a new LXC box on our master - Fabien \& Michael: Continue with work on Nutch - Fabien \& Michael: Build Vagrant templates for Debian Squeeze \& Wheezy using Veewee (plain images, no modifications. TODO: publish files on public URL so anyone can use them.) - Andri: Created Docker boxes for building Debian packages. Integrating those boxes into a Jenkins server (slave) and build new packages automatically. Plan is to have this finished on Sunday. - Bastian \& Christian: continue with work on the message queue handler. TODO: write some more details... - Peter: Redmine Redmine Redmine!! :-) Doing good progress, repositories are now created automatically using message queues. Finish a long working session at 22:00 and finally get some food!! Sunday morning Begin 09:00 (!!). Andri gives short introduction about Software Defined Storage. Looks interesting but how can we use this for our servers? Food for thought...
