##TODOs
###Server Team
* Configure proxy for that address ~stg
* Change mirrors.xml, remove mirrors and change typo3.org's mirror to ter.typo3.org ~stg
* What about SSL? Enforcing it? ~stg
* optional please, on by default ~pgampe
* uploading an extension to TER requires to give T3O user name na password. So, it sould be encrypted. ~tkr
* this is not handled through the TER mirrors
* Inform TER mirror providers that they can quit their service and say thanks ~stg
* Do **not** redirect typo3.org/fileadmin/ter/ to ter.typo3.org, yet. Or should we ~stg
* IMHO we should redirect for a while (at least a three month or so) ~pgampe
* think when we redirect, we have to do that even longer (but maybe watch the stats..) ~stg
###Development (Core Team, Active Contributors, Community)
* Test if changes to the mirrors.xml are picked up, also by 4.5 EM (remember that I tried such thing and it didn't work directly) ~stg
* Remove code for mirror handling in 6.0+ ~stg
* Write article for typo3.org
##Things that could go wrong
* Users esp. in Asian countries might get lower performance (I see A.B. writing a 10 pages rant) ~stg
* People that have hardcoded a local mirror will get outdated data -> article on typo3.org ~stg
* old mirrors should either redirect or return an error message
