#Switchable Controller Actions
Please describe the pros and cons of switchable controller actions in your every day life as a TYPO3 developer.
[Alexander Schnitzler]
pros:
* to be written
cons:
* to be written
---------------------------
[Jonas Eberle]
pros:
* it maybe allows creating a single plugin for multiple "impersonations" thus reducing clutter in the "New Content Element Wizards"
cons:
* the action is saved in a hard-to-parse flexform
* it is unknown to the routing framework which parameters are going to come in
I did not use it for a long time because of conceptual deficits.
To be very honest though, the whole plugin concept in TYPO3 has conceptual deficits!
Some points:
* HTTP-parameter-namespace clash between multiple plugins of the same type!
